Andrei is a partner heading the corporate/M&A practice in Russia. He specialises in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions with primary focus on the financial, energy and natural resources, industrial and insurance sectors. Andrei advises top Russian and international investors on a broad range of corporate matters, including public and private transactions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings and corporate governance matters. 
He is recognised as one of the top corporate/M&A lawyers in Russia by the leading legal benchmark publications such as Chambers (individual Band 1 ranking), Legal 500 and IFLR1000 for more than five consecutive years.
Since his arrival to White & Case Andrei takes a leading part in firm’s business development and client relations management. Working closely with the firm’s global committees Andrei is constantly engaged in shaping the new approaches to promotion of legal services and creating added value in the clients’ services. He is an author of seminar series for in-house lawyers focused on efficient cooperation of in-house legal units and legal services providers. Andrei is a part of the global taskforce responsible for the firm’s profile and branding initiatives. He is a member of the alumni committee of the firm.
He has authored a specialised lecture course on M&A for law students which he has been successfully teaching for more than 10 years at top Russian law schools, including Moscow State University (MGU), Moscow Sate Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and Moscow State Law University (MGYuA). 
Andrei graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO), International Law Faculty and is qualified to practice law in the Russian Federation. Before joining White & Case in 2010, Andrei was a senior partner in a leading international law firm, headed its Russian M&A practice in Moscow and was a member of the strategy board responsible for the firm’s corporate practice.
